Before the Mission

It was dark out when the Chinook carrying the 8 members of the Everon Industries team was only a few miles away from Stone Ville, Pennsylvania, the closest city to Raccoon City. In Stone Ville, this team which consisted of two six man units, Team Eagle and Team Wolf with two primary pilots for the Evacuation Helicopter would be ready to undergo a rather risky mission. Each member was taught how to fly in the event the primary’s could not uphold their end of the bargain, but hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

Team Wolf was the six man crew that would be sent in first on September 26th. Due to the current 'situation' stirring in Raccoon, Everon Industries had given the teams four days to procure Doctor James Ferral's labwork and a specimen of the 'S-Virus' he'd been working on. With a man on the 'inside' already, a man by the name of Jack Taylor who was wearing the colours of Umbrella at the moment told them that the best time to launch an offensive would be around the 26th, when Umbrella would be occupied in trying to keep the virus from spreading. Team Wolf would be using Intel provided by Jack, under the Code name 'Ace of Spades', and would carry out the mission as quickly as possible.

Team Eagle would be the backup unit as well as the EVAC crew. By September 30th, at Zero Hour, they would descend into Raccoon City Park to pick up Team Wolf, and they would wait a maximum of one hour if there was no response from Team Wolf. By September 30th, it would be surmised that the city would be lost and there would be little resistance from either law enforcement or Umbrella Mercenaries. In the event that Team Wolf had failed to secure the necessary objectives, the six man unit of Eagle Team would carry out Team Wolf's mission. The Primary Pilots, code named 'Lion' would fly towards the University (the Primary Target Location) and would Evacuate Team Eagle once they were successful. In the event both Units had failed, operation 'Code Black' would be in effect, in which Lion would activate the C4 Explosives located on every soldier's uniform, before fire bombing the University. No one but the Captain's of teams Wolf and Eagle knew of this 'Code Black', and they too could activate individual member's uniforms in the event that something went wrong. Code Black would help ensure that no trace could be made back to Everon Industries, a little known company that was secretly participating in Umbrella's Corporate Battles.

The plan was once they had touched down in Stone Ville they would then switch out from the Chinook and head to the outskirts of the Arklay Forest which also bordered with Stone Ville, where they would piece together the 'prototype' helicopter that Everon Industries managed to get their hands on from FoxHound. The helicopter was a new and state of the art 'Stealth' Helicopter. It would not be seen by any radar systems and it hardly made a sound while flying in the air unlike the Chinook they were inside, and supposedly had some sort of 'cloaking device' that was in it's experimental stages. They'd fly into Raccoon tonight, testing out the cloaking abilities of the Helicopter before landing back in Stone Ville for refuelling. They would rest till around 2100 hours, where they would be in operation mode. At current they were completely outfitted in the event if something went wrong tonight... marooning them in Raccoon City prematurely, they would be at least be able to survive.

Also at the current moment, while other members slept or were lost in their own worlds, the Captain of Team Wolf was patching in with 'Ace of Spades' who was in Raccoon at this very moment.

"DRAKE to Ace of Spades, do you read me Ace of Spades?" the captain's cool dark voice called through the mic.

"I read ya loud and clear DRAKE. But how about from this point on, you just call me 'Ace', alright?" the man chuckled at the other end, and after a brief moment had past he spoke up again: "How far along are you guys? You're late for the party." he says this with another chuckle.

DRAKE blinked. "Affirmative Ace of-er, 'ACE'. I'd say we are only a few clicks from our LZ. We should be arriving in Stone Ville shortly...but I would like to ask Sir... what's the situation like down on your end. Despite my... 'prior affiliation', I have not ever witnessed a B.O.W. up close... I would be lying if I told you I wasn't a tad nervous." DRAKE replied, settling in the seat.

"Good, good. There's some really nice fishing up in that area. As for Raccoon... it's a mess. Umbrella really screwed the pooch on this one. Jesus... Right now I'm carrying out my orders from HCF and Umbrella, at current they both believe I'm working for them, and Umbrella doesn't seem to notice my affiliation with either HCF or Everon. Well, if you ask me, it's good. I've got Wesker from HCF to deal with once he's out from hiding, and at Umbrella the Old Man thinks my head is growing out of his ass he thinks I'm so loyal. I tell you... I'm tired hearing Councilman George Sears keep blating in my eardrum all day; you're lovely voice really does make the difference, DRAKE." he says this then blurts out laughing.

"I don't 'fish' Ace." DRAKE stated as she listened in, but when he finished his sentence:

DRAKE blushed, narrowing her eyelids, her eyebrows raising with confusion and her lips frowning as she went deep flush. "Wha-what?" she spoke softly, feeling her heart beat nervously before hearing him laugh on the other end. She clenched her teeth, fists and eyelids, feeling anger rise within her. "Can you stop fucking around Ace? I'm being serious, and you didn't answer my question!" she half-screamed, remembering that she was on a helicopter full of men trying to sleep despite the already loud conditions. She coughed. "Well...is it that bad that you'd rather make jokes and idle conversation than strictly business?" she asked, leaning back into her seat.

Jack continued to laugh on his end. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I couldn't resist." he says whining from laughter. After a few seconds pass and his chuckles wear away he sighs. "...Well I think you need to be a little more social. I didn't get you approved by Rovazzini just because of your skills and looks. I mean, they're a definite plus-HEH, okay sorry I'll stop the jokes. But seriously, you need proper fixing DRAKE... I'll never know what you've went through, when I found you drifting into the realm of death. You were violated by Umbrella. Literally. We at Everon want to make sure that you're going to be alright to fly with us. I think your time with us will fix you; it won't be 100%, but it be better than you were 6 months ago." he says with a serious tone.

"As for the B.O.W. level... I've ran across countless Zombies, Lickers and Hunter's Alpha to Gamma are lurking throughout this entire complex. I'd be especially careful around the Hunter types, they are not forgiving, and will decapitate you any chance you give them. I'd also stay clear of U.B.C.S. Installations, and the Raccoon S.W.A.T. I already shot a S.W.A.T. guy earlier who got too close to me. Last I checked he was still alive, laying there in the Raccoon Park, but I'd be weary anyhow." he finished.

DRAKE simply bowed her head. Her hime cut's bangs hung over her eyes and shadowed them out in the red light of the helicopter's bay. She looked towards her right where the Two Humvee's were bolted down to the floor. 'U.S. ARMY' was sprayed upon their doors, a good camouflage for the citizens of Stone Ville once they arrived.

She remained silent, and looked back into her open palms. She saw them shake, and her vision blurred slightly. "Sometimes... I can still feel him touching me... inside of me. It's disgusting. Why... just why won't he leave me alone?" the small voice in her head exclaimed, a voice that sounded like a little girl that had skinned knees. But what DRAKE had gone through before was a lot worse than simple 'skinned knees'.

"..." she remained silent.

She leans back again into her seat, the red light showing off her Asian eyes which were closed as she breathed out a sigh. "Hunters, eh? Last I recall, they were just oversized frogs. I'm sure shooting a Grenade up their ass will cook them into some fine French Cuisine." she joked back with a small smirk upon her face.

"Well if the U.B.C.S have mobilized their forces and the Law Enforcement Agencies are still running around like chickens with their heads cut off, I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time till Umbrella sends in their 'Professionals'." she paused on this for a moment, and felt her gut turn. "Ace... through your Umbrella contacts have you heard of a man called 'The Raven'?" she paused again, her eyes lowered, her lips a firm slant across her face.

Jack roared with laughter. "There we go! See, you're already a natural! I tell you, you're going to like our company DRAKE."

"Yeah...I hear that Spencer may be sending in the U.S.S. (Umbrella Secret/Security Service) as soon as tonight. They need to send someone to collect the data the U.B.C.S are gathering fighting the B.O.W.s. As well as a true special force team to recover all their data they can't have a couple of mercenaries looking at. Destroy evidence and the like as well. I mean, for practically shitting in their backyard, they've been making full use of this accident. All they see is money and research material...and covering their own asses." he sighs.

Then he hears her speak about 'The Raven'. "I met the man, once upon a time. I think it was perhaps ten years ago, maybe it was five. I forget the year, but yeah he's one of Umbrella's top U.S.S. Agents." he sighs. After a brief pause their was loud gun fire. "I'm back, sorry, there was a Black Tiger that needed to be put down. Damn I hate spiders." he sighs again then adds: "So, what's it to you? Are you trying to ask me if he's been sent in yet?" he asked.

She let out a soft sigh, closing her eyes. "Yes. 'The Raven'...is-was my Umbrella U.S.S. Instructor. You can say... he was my mentor; a man whom I would not want to fight against if we were to cross paths." she clasped her fingers together, her eyes opening, looking at her thumbs. "To cross 'The Raven' would mean my certain defeat. He taught me most of what I know, he also knows my fighting style as well as my fathers. This man would be able to kill me in a heartbeat." she says, her skin pale, her palms feeling clammy. "And... I still hold respect for that man. He was a somewhat cold teacher, but he did teach me about loyalty." she smirked. "Funny now I mention that, since I'm technically working for turncoats and well, I too am one. Perhaps I failed that lesson." she closed her eyes sighing again, palming her forehead with both hands.

"Well my dear, that is what the helmets are for. They're going to not only provide you with protection, but it has a voice changer. Not even the members of Eagle will recognize your voice, let alone if your a woman...that is if you bind your feminine 'features' tight enough. I'm sure you already have. If not I would do so anyhow. Not to sound like a pervert, but I wouldn't want those things bouncing in my face while I'm running around DRAKE." he says with a slight chuckle.

"Well, I'd hate to cut this short, but the Old Man wants me to check in with him again. Till we meet up in Raccoon DRAKE, I'll be at the Mayor's house in his bunker waiting for you and your team's arrival. From there I'll pass along to you the data I need taken out of the city as well as ammo and supplies you may need as well as the coordinates to a safe house I handpicked for your team. Mayor Harris is already dead, but his son Rufus is trying to take over. I don't think the boy's gonna last much longer. I'm sure, just like his sister and father, he'll be belly up soon enough. Now, get some sleep soldier, we'll need your strength to be at it's maximum. And... Good luck, DRAKE. Ace of Spades, Over and Out." Her radio runs silent now, with Jack doing what ever he had to do on his end of the mic.

She narrowed her eyes in annoyance but held her tongue. She was indeed 'strapped' and ready, but how was he supposed to know? After he left, she bowed her head. "Thanks."

She looks at her helmet beside her, and reaches for it. After lifting it she slips it upon her head, twisting it and locked it in place. A HUD flashed in the lenses of the gasmask, and she looked in the direction of a sleeping Darius. Suddenly, Darius's Callsign 'Otter' popped up in the lens, and showed an EKG that read as 'fine'. "Wow, top of the line gear." she says and is suddenly struck by surprise. she pulls out a mirror from her bag and immediately brings it to her face. "What the... My voice... I sound like Spike Spiegel from my favourite Anime..." She chuckled at this, the voice sounding too eerily like Steve Blum's. She pointed at the mirror and smiled behind her mask.

"Bang."
