In the lowest accessible levels reside the massive plasma energy reactors. The power source for the entire bunker. Plasma reactors are a completely clean and renewable energy source that edgar had created and installed after ripping out the much older hydrogen power plant previously installed. The only threat faced with this method of power generation is waste heat, but this was countermanded quite effectively by external venting and the use of the surrounding ice shelf as a gigantic heat-sink.

Security here is very tight, with another security checkpoint that is heavily reinforced. Despite the deserted apperance, the generators are all running at peak efficiency.
