The Great Lift Exit and the Crystal Caves Empty

At the far end of the great lift, the rails rejoin up and allow the undoubtedly massive cargoes to be moved unong the shimmering Crystal Caves to their destination.

The crystal Caves are formed from ancient Permafrost layers, many thousands of years to millions and even billions of years old.

The twisting and winding tunnels of the Crystal Caves eventually give way to the spectacular Geofront overlook!

The cargo elevator stopped, the mag locks released, and the cart began moving forward once more, through the... aptly named Crystal Caves.

"Well... I suppose it wouldn't be a consolation, but i can run some tests on you and see if I cannot deduce your problem with D13... I get the feeling that with your refinement proccesses, you've cut out some vital components."

Edgar looked up upon the crystalline natural structure that surrounded them and their cart as it moved along the rails.

"More wealth in these walls than you can find in the rest of the world's natural resources combined... And yet, I have no desire for money... ironic..."

He chuckles. "You may find this strange coming from a Templar, but I am quite knowledgeable of my setbacks that had been induced by D13. To be honest...I'm quite content with what I'm living with now." he then looks at the walls and chuckles before adding: "Years ago, I would have killed for this vein. But, neither do I feel a need to take these sparkling minerals. In the end, they are nothing more than just that anyways." he states a little ominously. He then laughs out loud a little. "Though, it must be a bitch and a half to push these massive structures off the rail if they ever fall." he jests.

Edgar leaned back in his chair and smiled.

"Not really. These crystals are quite stabe, and very very hard. All it took was driving the stakes into the hollowpoints and fastened them down. The carts are mag locked to the tracks, it prevents tipping when hauling massive cargoes."

"funnily enough, it's those same minerals that makes what you are about to see possible."

The Count adjusts his tie and grunts slightly. He wondered what the man beside him was going to present to him. He really hadn't an idea. Such a strange man Edgar. Such a strange world at that. "Then let us move on." he says finally after a long pause.
