Catherine's Private Militia's Arsenal

The following weapons are the common weapons found on Catherine's Island. These weapons are the weapons that are standard and what each military member of the Island is trained in use with. Now Catherine allows her members to use other weapons that are not provided, but to act as a better Mercenary Unit, they use this standard equipment.

Assault Rifles. Weapons of medium power that can deliver death and suppressing fire on it's enemies. All of Catherine's Mercenaries are required to be trained in the efficient use of these weapons which make up the bulk of the infantry units.

FAMAS Type C

-The powerhouse of the Island's Military defenses. It is the #1 most common weapon used by Catherine's Mercenary Unit. Like the other two AR's, the weapon chambers the 5.56x45mm round, with a 30 round detachable box magazine. Unlike other FAMAS, this version has been customized and reproduced with a higher rate of full-automatic fire instead of a burst firing mechanism, a slightly shorter barrel and stock to allow for use in close quarters, a rifle scope, a built in laser sight, and a folding built in bi-pod for allow greater accuracy in prone position. There are some FAMAS-Type C's fitted with Beta-mags and flashlights on the island as well, but are rarer to find.

Custom G36

-A customized CQB G36 with a folding stock, Holo-scope with a side laser pointer, with a stable fore grip. The assault rifle is selected when the FAMAS-C isn't specialized. It's barrel is shorter than the FAMAS-C and has lower accuracy, but makes up for it in it's advanced firepower and flash-hider barrel. The 30 round magazines are fitted with mag-pulls, allowing for quicker reloads as well. Unlike the other two assault rifles, this weapon can alternate between semi-auto, bust-fire, and full-auto capacity.

G36KC

-A highly customized full-sized G36, built by the great Joe Kendo himself (thus the 'KC', "Kendo-Custom"). It was the powerhouse of Everon Industries Private Security Unit, the 'VSAC'. The magazine has a thirty-six round capacity magazine, a longer barrel, a higher grade scope and the ability to be both suppressed as well as have an attached M203 Grenade Launcher attachment or a M3SC Semi-Auto Shotgun attached to the under barrel.

It used to be a mass produced weapon, but since the fall of Everon Industries, the weapon has seen a decline in use. Though, some models and parts are still available on the Island, especially since it was once Catherine's favorite Assault Rifle.

M4A1 Spec-Ops Custom 'Operator'

-A famous assault rifle based from the Colt Model 16 Assault Rifle. This highly customized assault rifle has the ability to switch between burst fire and full auto. Also unlike the standard variants of the other two assault rifles, the gun comes standard with a laser sight, flashlight attachment, a high low-degrade suppressor, and an M203 Grenade Launcher. It has a 30 round magazine and is used by some of Catherine's Mercs who were former US Soldiers and Special Operations Operatives.

There are some versions of this weapon on the island with a holo-dot scope attachment.

Light Machineguns. These weapons are assault weapons with high rates of fire, capacity, and power. However, they are a little heavier to carry than an Assault Rifle. Some of these weapons are used for boarder defense on the island by island Security Forces.

RPK (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova-"Kalashnikov hand-held machine gun")

-A 7.62x39mm light machine gun of Soviet design, developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the late 1950s, parallel with the AKM assault rifle. The RPK functions identically to the AK-47. It also uses the same 7.62x39mm ammunition.

It has a similar design layout to the AKM and AK-47 series of rifles, with modifications to increase the RPK's effective range and accuracy, enhance its sustained fire capability, and strengthen the receiver. Most notably, the RPK has a heavier and longer barrel than an AKM. This allows the RPK to fire for extended periods of time without major loss in accuracy due to the barrel heating up. The chrome-lined barrel is permanently fixed to the receiver, and cannot be replaced in the field. It is fitted with a new front sight base, gas block (lacks the bayonet lug) and an under-barrel cleaning rod guide. The barrel also features a folding bipod, mounted near the muzzle, and a front sight base with a lug that limits the bipod's rotation around the axis of barrel.

It has a 75 round capacity drum magazine. Catherine adopted the weapon for use in her troops when mobility and high automatic fire is required.

M240 Squad Automatic Weapon

-The M240 has been used by the United States Armed Forces since the late-1970s. It is used extensively by infantry, most often rifle companies; as well as ground vehicles; watercraft; and aircraft. Despite not being the lightest medium machine gun in service, it is highly regarded for reliability, and its standardization among NATO members is also seen as a major advantage. For this reason, Catherine had adopted the popular LMG into her Military Service. It has a 200 round mag of 7.62×51mm NATO.

Submachine Guns. Weapons capable of high rates of fire and are lighter and easier to use than Assault Rifles, but lack the extra kick.

MP45

-A customized UMP45 submachine gun, with the ability to be further customized. Catherine had adopted the UMP45 design around 2004, and tweaked it herself to get the MP45 design which was produced in 2005. The magazine has a 45 round magazine, chambering the .45 ACP round. This weapon is preferred by Catherine's Mercs whom prefer an assault weapon with less recoil compared to the LMG's or Assault Rifles. The weapon can select fire as well, between semi-auto and burst fire.

MP9

-An automatic hand-held submachine gun that has a sliding stock built into it's frame. Capable of housing 32 rounds in it's magazine, it is also interesting to note that it was designed by the creator of the Uzi. It comes with a suppressor on Cat's Island. Catherine got a hold of several models, but the weapon itself is quite rare to find, even among Cat's Mercs. It is a 9x19mm weapon.

UZI
-A popular 9x19mm submachine gun known worldwide by name. This version Catherine employs has a folding stock and a 32 round box magazine, and a laser sight. It can be easily handled with one hand, but for added support the stock is pulled and released out to help shoulder the weapon when fired. It is as popular as the MP45 on Cat's island, and was the standard weapon of the Security Force stationed in Everon's training facility in Cambodia.

Shotguns. These scatterguns are used primarily by Security Forces and Enforcers on Catherine's Island. They might lack long range, but shotguns are quite deadly and are a good partner to have on hand.

SPAS 12

-A famous Italian shotgun. Known for it's ability to cycle between pump-action and semi-automatic firing modes. A weapon of her Umbrella days, Catherine trusts the weight and the reliability of the SPAS. 90% of the models used on her island before being customized with lighter parts and fitted with a modified choke were stolen directly from Umbrella's Rockfort Island Armory. This weapon is the main shotgun utilized by Catherine's soldiers. It has a capacity for eight 12 gauge shotgun rounds, and can use both slugs and buckshot.

Winchester 1200 Custom

-An American shotgun. Coincidentally it is the exact same model used by the Paradise City Police Department. It is a takedown type shotgun which means it has the capability of being taken apart for easy transportation and storage. The weapon has a barrel shroud, a heat vent and high sights for better aiming. It is a pump-action which utilizes a rotary bolt with four locking lugs secured within the barrel extension, known as a 'Winchoke'. The weapon is a cheap and light weight shotgun, and is preferred to those Mercenaries who are sent into the field whom don't want to be weighed down. It has a six shot-shell tubular magazine for the 12 gauge caliber.

M1014

-Another Italian shotgun. It's a full-delayed-automatic shotgun capable of devastating power. It has lighter weight than the standard SPAS, but slightly less accurate and powerful. The M1014 also has a seven shot-shell tubular magazine for the 12 gauge round, and is considered by Catherine's Mercs the 'deal breaker' about which to carry between the SPAS or the 1200C. It was recommended by some of Catherine's Mercs who were in the United States Marine Corps during the late 90's and early 2000's, to which lead Catherine to test and then approve the expensive shotgun.

Sniper Rifles. The elite Recon forces and sharpshooters of Catherine's force utilize these long range firearms in order to strike their foes from afar and in relative safety.

SAKO TRG-42 Custom

-A Finnish bolt-action sniper rifle that has gone under some customizations by Catherine. It is fitted with a bi-pod, a side-venting muzzle break, and equipped with a high powered scope. The weapon fires a .300 Winchester Magnum round, in a five round magazine. Due to this larger round, the action is larger to accommodate the larger round (the TRG-22 is a .308 Winchester rifle, and thus has a smaller action). It is a weapon utilized by most of Catherine's snipers.

DSR-1

-A German bolt-action, bull-pup (rear fed) sniper rifle. A high-powered .300 Winchester Magnum sniper rifle that has a five round magazine, and the ability to store another magazine in front of the trigger guard, allowing the user to carry more ammunition for the weapon. Since it's a bull pup, it's slightly more range than the other snipers due to it's longer barrel.

G3SG1

-A powerful 7.62x51mm German sniper rifle. Capable of housing 20 rounds of ammunition, it is the sniper rifle with the highest capacity as well as fire-rate on Catherine's Island. Like the custom SAKO, it has a folding bi-pod under its grip, allowing it to be steadied and fired more accurately in a prone position. Unlike the the other two, it is a rifle that can also be suppressed, and it is the weapon of choice for Catherine's Mercs who want to snipe quietly from a reasonable distance. It is a semi-automatic rifle, and built similar to a G3 Assault Rifle from which it is derived.

Heavy Weapons. These weapons are to be used by the ''Vanguard'', aka, the demolitions and the most experienced crew members of Catherine's Militia.

MGL40

-A multiple firing grenade launcher. It chambers six 40mm grenades, and is fitted with a night-vision capable scope. It fires semi-automatically and is fitted with a stock similar to that of an M16/M4.

EH-10298 Anti-Tank Launcher

-A previously experimental rifle developed by Catherine's team since 1998, after the discovery of Edgar Holden and his capabilities. Over the years, the design had changed and was manipulated then redrawn till 2012 when the weapon finally left the experimental stages and was produced upon the Island. The weapon's name, EH-102, stands for: 'Edgar Holden, October 2, 1998'. Edgar Holden is the sole reason why the weapon was created, and October 2nd was the date Raccoon City was destroyed. The name is a reminder for whom it was created to fight against, while also remembering the potential destruction that could be brought from him. Catherine had it created for in the event that Edgar was to ever loose control of his mind and become a rampaging monster again, that she could execute him almost painlessly with a well placed shot to his head. Just as a precaution.




FIM-92 "Stinger"

-A heat seeking computer guided portable surface-to-air missile. Capable of destroying targets that are in extremely high altitudes.

Sidearms. The backup weapon that all citizens and personnel on Catherine's Island are required to learn how to use and should have on them at least 90% of the time. The following weapons are the weapons that Catherine has endorsed for the Island Personnel.

Cougar D11

-A custom tactical .45 handgun based off of the M1911. Boasting great power and with the ability to be modified in various ways (Compensator, Laser Sight, Pistol Scope, etc). It has an 8 round capacity magazine, high dovetail sights with a illuminated front blade sight for precision shooting in low light situations, cocking serrations in the front and back of the slide for an easier reload, an elongated trigger which ensures an easier trigger pull, with a skeleton hammer. The slide itself is a modified heavy-duty frame, ensuring high durability. Catherine was quite impressed with the weapon, and has made it the standard handgun for all members of her Unit. The custom versions she has spent her money on are the versions with the laser sight/IR-Sight/Flashlight attachment and a suppressor modification (shown in the spoilers below). The suppressor is of a high grade, and the laser aiming module allows sighting in a laser pointer (in all sorts of colors), an IR pointer (for use with infrared goggles to see the infrared beam), and a flashlight modification for easier night shooting.

M92F

-A famous and popular Italian 9mm. The weapon it self boasts a fifteen round magazine, and it's design is a masterpiece. This weapon was the handgun of choice of the R.P.D. S.T.A.R.S. unit, whom had their own customized version known as the 'Samurai Edge'. The Beretta 92F is a handgun which Catherine holds respect for, though herself hasn't really used the weapon all that much. It is an option as a main side arm for members of her Mercenary Unit if they do not wish to use the Cougar D11.

M29

-An American .44 magnum revolver. Very iconic in both movies and in urban folklore. A six shot monster capable of performing serious damage. Barry Burton had customized a variant called the M29C which was left behind in the S.T.A.R.S. Office within the RPD Station back in '98. Catherine, a fan of the movie 'Dirty Harry', adopted the weapon for service. Though the recoil can be somewhat tricky to manage, and compared to the other two weapons it's capacity is small, it's still a great gun to have on hand.





Desert Eagle

-Another popular magnum handgun. There are many variations, but this version is the .50 AE/12.7mm version. It has a seven round magazine, but each bullet is capable of devastating damage, so much so that anything that is hit by it should be blown apart by it's high stopping power and firepower which alone, should be able to topple an Elephant.
