The construction zone for water fairing vessels of the city. Currently home to only a select number of ships, including the reformatted and rebuilt Blacknoah, now known as the Ark, and the gargantuan Mobile Offshore Base that was once buried and hidden beneath Rockfort Island, now known as Athena.

The air shimmered on the reformatted Ark's bridge teleportation pad, before Edgar and Sasa appeared.

"Welcome aboard the Ark Sasa. Please take a seat. We will be launching shortly. Ark are you ready?" Edgar asked as he sat himself aboard the command chair and began powering up various systems.

A small, feminine, and very young childlike voice replied to Ed from seemingly all around them. "Y-yeah chief, I'm ready... I hope we get there in time to save our friends..."

"As do I youngling, as do I... Activating chronishift in eta 7 minutes 15 seconds."

Edgar began typing onto the console, and a small earpiece jutted from his left ear, extending a microphone a few inches across his cheek towards his mouth.

"I have a call to make..."

After several minutes, Damien's voice came through. "United Nations: BSAA Investigation Unit; Agent Handy speaking. Hello? Anyone there?"

Edgar felt his tongue and lips go dry, like grave dust, and he could sense some of the discomfort in his old friend's voice.

"Damien.... it has been a long time...."

"Who is this? And how did you get a hold of my number?" was Damien's rather terse reply.

Edgar frowned slightly at that. "Hrmm... I guess that device did more damage to you than I thought... Damien, it's me, Edgar Holden... The man who was once your best friend and fellow Raccoon survivor... The one who managed to keep your W....." Edgar cut himself off quickly.

"Never mind about that...There are some serious problems, both on your end and mine... Unfortunately, I may not make it to Tall Oaks in time to deal with the problems no doubt festering there... I have a situation down here..."

"Ed huh? Sorry...but it doesn't really ring any bells. I would recognize an old friend straight away but...again, your story seems to be off."

Edgar's face remained even, but a hint of a smirk rolled off his face. He waited.

"If you have a situation sir, you should properly contact the local authorities. Wait a minute! Where the hell are you calling from? I better not be getting charged extra for this, damn it!"

That's when the smirk came full force.

"Oh yes, because Antarctica has local authorities. Brilliant plan... And don't be so pedantic, I'm not some charity that calls collect. As for your memory of me, I do believe it basically amounts to the Rockfort incident, and... one phrase you may remember of me... 'Kyoufu wo oshiete yarou' or in your language: 'I will teach you the meaning of fear'. You know who I am, and you know what I do...And before you ask; Yes, I was there on that day, I just never made it in time..."

The rest of the conversation became unseen and unheard by Sasa, as Edgar phased himself.

Then, Edgar's eyes began glowing as his mind reached out, focusing his power to multiple locations and people.

One was of course Damien handy, the 2nd was ever watchful over Catherine Miller, and the 3rd reached out to The Black Queen.

After some time, the craft began the chronoshift fold, and the entire vessel teleported from the docks to it's intended destination...

However, a strange event would occur while in transit.

Edgar caught a brief glimpse of something from the either of the space-time fold.

It was only an instant, but he felt something familiar... the presence of one he knew for a fact was dead. Then the fold transported...

However, that was not the end.

When the space fold completed, Edgar retained his connection. Amd through him, he felt another presence, one here on Earth, creep through him, and into the rift. And that presence caused him pain.
