The largest street in Tall Oaks. Contains a variety of shops on either side of the two lane road.

Damian was too drunk to drive, so he left his car in front of the After Hours Bar as he walked about to cool off the buzz. He had a cigarillo planted firmly in his mouth, and breathed in the smoke and exhaled as he walked about main street. He paused, when he knew he was well enough away. He pulled out his cellular phone and stared at it for a moment. After a few minutes, he decided to dial the number.

He brought the device to his ear, his face pale and his cigarillo slowly dwindled away. After a few moments there was an answer. It was a sleepy voice, a young voice...a teenage voice:

"Hello?...Um, hello...?"

Damian hesitated, his skin paler than it was as he was waiting for the call to go through.

"Hey man, its late here! Is this some sort-" Damian hangs up on his son before stashing the phone away. He couldn't talk to his son like this. He sighed, leaning his back against a building placing two fingers between his cigarillo and closes his eyes as he sighs. "One step at a time..." he says tossing the stub aside and went for another when he realized he was out of smokes. "Shit..." he snubs out the smouldering stub and begins to walk to a convenience store while they were still open.

Vince was going to be out soon. Only a few more turns. He was adjusting his tie and then looking at the Rolex on his left wrist. The time said quarter past eleven, and by this time tomorrow he'd be laying in bed at a penthouse in Miami. This was it, the last straw. He wasn't going to let them ruin his institution without some sort of compensation...besides, they have a lot of money as is, what's a couple million dollars to them anyhow? And it wouldn't matter, by the next couple of turns he'd be out of this mess of a town anyhow. He pats the pocket of his jacket, reassuringly. There had been a few times he thought he may have dropped it, but he didn't, thankfully. The dominoes were falling, the time was drawing near. He noticed the small fleck of red on his right cuff, and stared at it briefly. He shook his head, trying not to draw his attention away from the road for too long. What had happened was unavoidable. Besides, I enjoyed it. No sense feeling sorry. he thought, as he took a turn.

Lights... Flashes of hazy vision. His world revolving, cycling, inverting and then reverting as his vehicle rolled. Glass crunched, smashed, the scent of blood. Then another loud bang. Vince blinked, coughing and with the wind knocked out of his lungs. His left eye's vision was blurry, the lens was smashed to hell. His left wrist should be writhing in agony, with the large jagged piece of wind shield sticking out of it. His eyes wavered, watery. "Der-glick!.." his words bubbled out with blood painting his lips as he reached his throbbing neck with his good hand, the piece of twisted metal jutting out from it stabbed out the back of his neck as well, but it was actually the less severe wound as he would later find out, once his recollection of this event would be...erased.

He turns his head to the left to see the vehicle that had hit him had continued driving towards him! Headlights, then darkness as the vehicle crashed into Vincent's driver's seat, Vincent's Buick then smashed into the retaining wall surrounding the park. Smoke billowed out from the hood of both vehicles, a steady monotonous tone of car horns creating a loud annoying duet.

Damian had only barely seen what had just happened. He blinked a coupled times as the semi truck had struck the shiny new Buick, flinging it against the retaining wall. "Holy shit!" he exclaimed, glad his phone was already in his hand as he dialed 911, but at that point the large truck kept speeding, a limp arm hanging out the window, Damian speculated the man was either unconscious or sleeping yet as he pressed weight against the pedal. "Oh fuck, fuck fuck fuccck!" he exclaimed, cringing as the truck slammed into the Buick with enough force to crush it against the wall.

Smoke billowed out from both vehicles, he saw the truck's driver arm twitch, but Damian felt more grim about the fate of the other driver. He disregarded the phone call to the police and handed his phone to a young man who was still in awe nearby. Damian looked at the kid fiercely. "The Police are on the line, tell them to head to main street, we need a bus-an ambulance, just stay on the fucking line till help arrives. And don't steal my phone!" he screamed that last bit as he tore off his jacket, tossing it upon the asphalt as he ran up to the two vehicles.

His black tie bouncing against his crisp clean white shirt, the brown leather handgun holster revealed with the stainless handgun snugly inside it's binding, as well as the suppressor attachment in the tubular compartment that also attached to the holster. He ran to the truck driver first, jumping up in daze, partially due to the alcohol as well as the scent of the burning gasoline. He needed to pull the man out, he didn't think he had suffered that many injuries, unlike the occupant of the Buick...

"Hey man, your going to be fine..." he assured the driver, not bothering to check the man's pulse or see if he was too conscious. He just quickly checked to see if there was a reason not to remove the heavyset driver in the jumpsuit. He saw he had no reason to not remove the man, for the interior was practically intact and the man's only injuries seemed to be in his face from the broken nose and possible mild concussion. He took out his pocket knife and cut the seat belt off the bigger man, and began pulling him out of the vehicle. He shouldered the man to the curb, having him sit there dazed as he went back to the two vehicles. He could see someone faintly moving in the smashed to hell Buick, but this was not his expertise.

"Shit..." he cursed under his breath. He ran up to the Buick, and peered into the window.

The windows were all either blown out or like jagged cave spikes. The detective would have found that there was a man laying limp in the driver's seat. His suit bleeding, staining what looked to be either a labcoat or a trench coat red. His right eye appeared to be twitching, the eyeball itself was rolling up.

For Vince, the darkness was setting up. Basic things were simultaneously forgotten then remembered, the pieces of fabric that were leading up to this point were completely vanished, he didn't even remember the mental conversation he had while driving a moment ago, let alone his name for a long period of time. He remembered lights. Bright lights. That is all he could think of or remember at this point. The sound of his own blood coursing through his ears was the only other sounds he could hear, not even the sounds of the horn that his head was leaned against. His left eye had hemorrhaged, and he was loosing the vision slightly in that eye now. He had suffered a leg injury in the second whammy, a thick piece of plastic interior had been stabbed into his right thigh, and caused blood to seep through his pinstripe pants. He continued to lean against the horn of the vehicle, ignoring the calls for help unintentionally.

An angry shout, and a flash of violet light heralded Edgar's sudden departure from the bar behind Ben.

As Ben made his way outside he suddenly heard what appeared to be a angry shout or maybe even a growl whatever it was it didn't sound good the sound was followed by a flash of light which appeared violet in color Ben turned his head towards Edgar only to discover he was no longer there. "Huh where the hell", he then turned back and was now outside all that greeted him was two wrecked vehicles one more wreaked than the other Ben scanned the area he saw a young man with a phone in his hand, Ben ran to the young man and asked if he had contacted the police the man nodded Ben then looked towards the two wreaked vehicles and noticed Damian crouched beside the wreaked Buick Ben ran over and crouched beside Damian "What the hell happened here" Ben then looked towards Damian who was peering into the window, "How's it looking in there?" Ben calmly asked.

Damian turned his head towards Ben and shook his head. "I don't have a clue. Here I making a phone call and then BAM! Two injured people and one of which are seriously injured." he says pointing at the man inside the Buick. "Hes looking bad, but I don't see anything pinning him in there or anything that we shouldn't touch. I've just been wondering how we'll pull him out without further injury." he says before he looks up at the Semi. "Hey, I didn't try, but I really don't want to see both these cars go up in flames, especially that Semi right there, it looks like its carrying oil or gasoline," he says pointing at the truck's open door. "...so go see if you can't put that beast into reverse. If you cant... we're probably going to explode. No pressure." he says, clapping Ben's shoulder, while Damian stayed with the injured man inside the Buick.

Saeko watched from the edge of the small crowd that was forming, narrowing her eyes at the scene. The two from earlier were in front of her now. Even if they had turned and spotted her, they probably wouldn't recognize her now, since before she was the mostly hidden one and had been wearing a gas mask. Chifusa was still checking out the park area. Saeko, watching the scene before her, was beginning to wonder if perhaps these two were not the ones they were supposed to tail... She remained there at the edge of the crowd, her leather trenchcoat covering her body as the rain began to fall again.

Soon flashing red and blue lights and sirens were pulling up to the scene. Two TOPD squad cars, a Firetruck, and two Ambulance pulled up from other streets.

A motorbike then screeched it's tires as it parked on the scene. It had blue and red lights that flashed and it had been painted black and white like the squad cars. It's female rider dismounted from the bike and took off her helmet before setting it on the bike and headed over to the scene. She blinked, noticing Ben quickly. "Why is it, whenever I find you two, your both always in some sort of mess, Ben?" Sheila asked as she approached the two gentlemen. Four Officers were already beginning to cordon off the area, and Sheila smiled at seeing Ben again.

Ben couldn't help but chuckle "Trouble has it's way finding us i guess" Ben smiled back at Sheila

Ben then made his way to the truck despite not being a police officer anymore there was still that part of him that needed to help those in need Ben began to climb into the truck he then turned back to Sheila "Look, i'm gonna try and reverse this thing otherwise as Damian said this could get real ugly real fast" Ben now sat in the driver seat turned the key hoping that the truck would start but sadly it didn't, Ben shook his head and carried on trying "Come on work for me" Ben quietly said in a calm but worried tone.

Damian turned his head to the officer and then to Ben again. "Shit...we can't just push it..." he then paused, looking over at the firetruck. "The wench, that's right." he says noting the hook in front of the truck. As it looked though, the Fire Fighters on scene had the same idea.

He turned towards the police officer's on hand, and then to the Paramedics. He informed one of the officers whom he was and what had happened. He didn't really want to interfere with the scene too much, though deep down a part of him really wanted to just dive into the Buick and yank the man out.

Sheila simply nodded to Ben's more urgent response. As noted, the firemen seem to have the same idea that Damian had. As they grappled the vehicle, they began to slowly inch it back from the half-smashed Buick. That was when she heard the men yelling.

"Goddamn piece of shit, move!" screamed one of the firemen, the winch seemed to be stuck. "We cant get'er to budge sarge!" sceamed another. It seemed the winch got stuck down the line, and she looked up at Ben. "The winch is jammed! Get it rolling!" she pleaded, heading over to the firemen to assist them. The thought of exploding in this town was not a pretty thought at all.

Ben nodded he turned the key again just as he thought the truck was about to start the key Snapped "FUCK!" Ben shouted he then jumped down and pulled the plastic casing that housed the wires away he then proceeded to hot wire the truck knowing that this was his last chance to get it started Ben was just about to give up when suddenly the truck started "all right, at last a bit of luck" Ben the turned to the firemen and Shelia he shouted over "Okay, i'm gonna try to reverse this thing" Ben jumped back into the drivers seat and shifted the truck into reverse he then slowly pressed his foot down on the pedal.

Damian looked at the situation, and thought about Yuki... he couldn't just stand there and let the man burn alive. He groaned, rushing past a pair of firemen, grabbing a fire axe from one of them, causing the man to recoil in anger towards him. Damian sprinted up to the drivers side, where the truck had slammed into the deepest. Though he could see Ben was slowly pushing the car back, the hood of the truck was still embedded into pieces of the sedan. Readying the axe, he slammed it's bulky weight against the attached edges with the pick end of the blade. The pick dented large gaping holes into the steel, as Damian put a lot of his effort into separating the two vehicles. "Come on, sonva bitch...don't do this to me now." he cursed mentally, slamming the axe down blow after blow before he decided to use the 'business end'. Slamming the blunt wedging blade against the area's he had stabbed with the reverse end, he managed to remove the portion of the truck's grill and bumper which had been clinging on yet.

"Shit on a stick..." he spat, pushing his back against the side of the sedan and brought his feet to the the truck's front end. It was still barely clinging somewhere but it had to be removed fast! He pushed his thick legs against the vehicle, the truck waning as the metal screeched and screamed. The vehicles were beginning to finally separate!

Ben watched as Damian suddenly appeared with a fire axe in hand and began to unleash all kinds of hell upon the truck, Ben continued slowly pushing the car but wasn't really getting anywhere, Ben looked over at Damian still going to town with the axe he then heard Damian mutter something and watched as he pushed his back against the sedan and his legs against the truck it was if by magic that the began to seperate "Holy Shit, it's starting to seperate. "Alright!!" Ben exclamied he then began to push along with Damian hoping to get these vehicles separated as quick as possible.
