Maple Lodge Carpark

The car tyres squealed in protest as she turned down the entrance ramp the SUV's suspension soaking up the bump from the ramp as she scanned ahead looking for a parking spot. She'd been lucky to get a booking here but never the less she had, one of the benefits of friends in high places she mused to herself. The car swung hard right and stopped the front bumper inches from a concrete wall as she parked.
Stepping out of the car she slipped her jacket on and took her case from the boot before turning to walk towards the underground passageway that would lead her to the hotel itself. Ahead a neon bar flickered blinking on and off casting eerie shadows around the car park. The only sound the clicking of her heels on the hard floor.

Suddenly high beams light up the woman like a spotlight: illuminating the woman in black as the vehicle approaches. The car drops to a crawl before it jackrabbits, stopping a foot away from the woman. The driver inside isn't able to picture her face (for his mind is in another world), but he would imagine she was likely not pleased with his driving. The B.S.A.A. Investigation Sedan lurched back slightly, causing the driver to hit the horn of his wheel, adding more fuel to the fire no doubt. Though for our rather rude (and if not buzzed) protagonist in this tale, he had not cared nor did he fully acknowledge the situation. Either due to the whiskey in his system, or his reflecting on past events clouding his actions, we do not know.

He grumbles inside the cab, in a world where only the hum of the engine managed to pierce the tinted windows and bullet proof walls of this company car. He blinks, looking at the woman, but at the same time unable to do to the high beams he keeps on; the intense light obscuring her features. As if some of his previous life's chivalry came back to him, he backs the car up a little more and politely waits for the woman to continue on so he could park the damned vehicle.

She'd heard the car approach and moved to one side to give it room to pass still it squealed to a halt far too close to her for comfort. One source of satisfaction for her was that as far as anyone knew B.O.W.s didn't drive cars, though that wasn't much comfort as she didn't know exactly who rated as a threat here. Her discomfort was heightened by the full beams even squinting and with her hand up to cover the glare she still couldn't make out the face of the driver. Armed only with a machete and that was stashed in her drag behind case she decided discretion was the better option and after giving the driver a dirty look she turned and headed towards the exit without a backwards glance.

Atop the main building of the Maple Lodge, Edgar stood and observed the events below. His reflective aviators shone in the moonlight and the neon street lights. He smirked at thje scene below, old memories quietly surfaced, but soon faded.

Edgar dropped to the street level in a single move, landing with barely a sound of his boots stepping onto the concrete barely 30 feet from Damien and Belladona's location.

He walked towards the lobby, hoping not to be recognised by his past friend.

With the woman stepping out of the way, he proceeded onward. Letting out a sigh, he pulls up a bent up cigarette and plants it between his drying lips; lighting it up causes the tinted glass to light up inside slightly as the oil lighter does it's job, lighting the tobacco up. Smoke drifts through the cab, and soon the vehicle comes to a halt. Turning off the ignition, he leans back in his seat, considering everything that was to unfold in the next couple of days: Since it's so late, he'd likely get into his room and unpack (with little that he carried), then after that walk around a little to get used to the towns surroundings and look for a bar to drink out of for the next two days till the President's speech. He grabs the ID wallet on the passenger seat, and opens the drivers side door, his leather shoes clicking against the concrete floor with low thuds as he pulls himself out and into the cool summer night air. He closed the door behind him, walking to the rear cache of his vehicle and unlocking the trunk. He opens the cache, taking out only one of two cases in the car, the other case was built into the car and had a bullet proof glass window looking into it-exposing the 12 gauge shotgun his friend Rita Janson used to carry. It was locked up tight with spare ammo, only unlocking with the card reader built on the side of it that would only register his B.S.A.A. Identification card.
Without so much as glancing at it, he closes the trunk door and locks it up again. He turns around slowly, the orange gowing cigarette flickered and he pauses, seeing shifting shadows in the corner of the parking lot. "Hmp..." he grunts, walking along, trying to head no attention to the movements-it was'nt like he was in Raccoon City again...that was long behind him now; Wesker was dead-the last known use of the T-Virus was in Harvardville in 2006, and he had no reason to be paranoid any longer. Though the scars across his chest begged to differ-being a rather macabre 'sixth sense' for him; they always bleed when something wasn't right...even though they've long since scarred. Thankfully, they weren't bleeding bad enough to soak through the bandages he had wrapped over his chest and in turn didn't soak his white dress shirt he wore over them.
He walks in the direction towards where he saw the woman, following her to what would likely be the entrance lobby into the Maple Lodge.

Belladonna heard the car pull up and paid no more attention to it, or at least that was how it would seem she continued on her way but her ears attuned to the sound of the man's footsteps as he exited his vehicle and moved around to the trunk. She also heard the man ahead of her as his heavy footsteps headed towards the hotel. What the hell she thought her eyes locking dead center of the back of the man ahead of her, where did he come from he couldn't just have fallen from the sky.
Pull yourself together girl she mumbled to herself and adjusted her press pass, it was a fake id but good enough to convince most. She felt vulnerable unarmed as she was but once she reached her room she'd have access to the weapons stash in the hotel's safety deposit box. It had been put there weeks before her arrival in anticipation of any further problems.

Damian continues forward, his suitcase bouncing against his knee with each step he made. He gazes from the woman, who's legs catch his gaze briefly, then to the taller man ahead of her. He feels his thirst rising, and he quickly takes the flask from his jacket pocket and takes a quick swig before latching the metal canteen shut again. He had booked a room about a month in advance, so there should be no issues once he got to the front desk. "Well...I can't wait to see what this city has to offer...I've got two more days till the President makes his speech. May as well enjoy myself a little." he says to himself, entering the lobby after the woman.

Ben pulled into the Maple lodge car park and found a parking space he turned the ignition off and just sat there for a while he reached into the inside pocket of his jacket and pulled his wallet out he opened it up to reveal a picture. The picture was of him and his friend Rachel just after his promotion to Sergeant back when he was a RPD SWAT Officer, Ben placed the wallet back inside his jacket. Ben proceeded to get out of the vehicle and grabbed his suitcase out of the boot of the car, he looked around at the other vehicles and quietly said to himself "sure looks like there's a lot of people here good thing i made a reservation" as he made his way to the entrance one particular vehicle caught his eye it was a black sedan bearing the insignia of the B.S.A.A on the front doors he thought to himself why would someone from the B.S.A.A be here the government would never ask them for help, Ben knowing this because he used to be a member of the B.S.A.A. he carried on walking to the entrance and said to himself " The only thing i can do is see how these next few days unfold".

Ben stopped walking and looked at the sinister looking man and thought to himself "Don't fancy getting in a tangle with him" Ben then replied to him in calm tone "i'm here for the presidents speech, I reserved a room a few weeks ago" Ben waited for a reply while gazing over at the young man slouched against the side of the building.

The bigger man grunts, then smiles. "Ah, well if you have a reservation then there isn't any harm done!....Unless your another one of those reporter types..." he says opening the door for the man. "Come on in, don't mind my Brother-In-Law here, he's just drunk." he beckons him inside the Inn and gets behind the counter.

Ben went straight through the reception area and out into the car park he opened the boot of his car inside there was a long looking metal case which Ben pushed to one side he then pulled out a umbrella Ben closed the boot and made his way out into the downpour of rain to have a walk around Tall Oaks and get familiar with the area.

Damian ignored the lack of reception and continued out the door to the pouring rain. Outside the rain fell hard and wet. Despite this, his BSAA jacket kept him warm and dry. He looks towards his car, and approaches it. He enters the vehicle and starts the engine before driving out into Tall Oaks. He wanted to look around first before heading up to the University. He starts to head down Tall Oaks street.

A fresh voice flashed into Damien's mind!
 
"Did you really think that just by hanging up a phone you could be rid of me? You have forgotten more than you would ever have imagined!"

Ben got back to the car park unlocked the boot of his car and flung it open the metal case was a bit long yet rather deep it was more a box than a case Ben grabbed the handle on the side and pulled the case out and turned to the entrance and walked straight through the reception area and up to the corridor where the rooms were located....

Damian pulls the car into a parking space and then applies the breaks before setting the black BSAA sedan into park. He opens the door of the vehicle, and then walks around to open the door for the woman. "Look, I don't rightly know if your speaking the truth; but for now, I'm going have to operate this matter in my own discretion." he says backing away from the vehicle, heading for the door way to the Lodge. He unlocks the door with the keys they had given him, and then opens the door into the lobby. A quick look inside showed that again, no one had returned to watch the front desk. He looks back to them and waves his hand at them. "It's good, no ones here yet."

Edgar nods, then coaxes his daughter out.

"It's ok, we are going to a safe place to help you finish your restoration undisturbed" he spoke to her as he lead her inside.

Damian locked the car door and then waited for the two to enter. Once they were clear, he closed the door behind him. Inside now, he heads up the flight of stairs to the second floor. He hovers before his bedroom before turning back to Ed. "If I catch you lingering..." he says at first before sighing heavily. He slips his room key into the keyhole and then unlocks the door. "Come on in...been mine for less than a day but make yourselves at home." he says with some minor irritation.

Ben arrived back at the car park he walked into the reception area and it was still deserted not one person around, Ben shrugged his shoulders and walked up the stairs and on the way to his room.

The 2 seater sports car pulled into a parking space of the Maple Lodge, the driver then got out and took out a jacket and a baseball cap he them on and made his way towards the entrance and pushed the door open.

Ben pulls into the car park and gets out of his car he makes his way to the reception doors as he does he notices a "new" sports car Ben looks back towards the entrance and sees someone stood at the desk inside.

Jack and Samantha now stood in front of the inn "I guess this our stop" Jack goes to walk through the door but doesn't realize it's locked as he faceplants the door and then bounces off of it and onto the floor, he looks up at Samantha with dizzy vision"Hey Sam, the door doesn't work" he then bursts out laughing while laid on the floor "how the hell am i going to get up now" He grabs his head with both hands "ohhhhh please stop i wanna get off now"

Samantha chuckled, looking down at him as she leaned against the door. "Hahaha hon, once we're up there your definitely going to be up!" she laughed before she found the key on the ground. "Hahaha silly, you dropped your ke-" as she went to grab it she tripped and fell, landing ontop of Jack with an 'oof'!

Her massive boobs were pressed up against her chin and she looked at his face and laughed. "Hahaha when did we get to this floor?" she laughed, taking her sweet time to bring the dangling key to his face and jingled it before him. "Ta-daaaaaah! Silly, you droppeded your keys!" She stuck her tongue out and gave him razzberry before pausing to chuckle again.

Jack looked at the keys "oh yeah, wait a minute those aren't my keys" Jack laughed "I only arrived today therefore i have no key at least i don't think i do, anyway as for how we got to this i believe that there door attacked me which then caused me to hug the floor, as for you being down here i haz nooo cluee, Okay we need to get back on our feet, otherwise i fear i'll end up sleeping here for the night".
