History:

A member of the Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins, she was formerly of the rank of Shishō, or 'Master Assassin'. She had done several assassinations for the Brotherhood, from the tender age of six. She had no father growing up, and seen her Assassin Mentor as her father figure growing up; a man who is very strict and discipline oriented within his Brotherhood. One of her more famous assassinations known by several of the Brotherhoods worldwide took place a couple years ago. She was assigned to kill a Templar who took shelter in a shrine in Kyoto. Dressed as a Miko, or Shinto Priestess, she resided at the shrine months before the Templar was to arrive. She wore colored contacts to give her dark brown eyes, and she performed actual priestess duties till the destined day. She gave the man and his Templar son a blessing, before fallowing them out of the shrine and shooting both point blank with a Walther P99 pistol. She then walked out and returned to her Brotherhood, still wearing her blood stained miko outfit.



She is known for her quick temper, and considered a 'loose cannon' in her Brotherhood for her blunt and 'bend the rules' attitude.

Currently however, she is being sent to work for a foreign Shishō; punishment for 'bending the rules too far' in her recent activities in Japan...

In May of 2013, Houki was assigned to take out a Businessman turned Templar in Tokyo. Assigned to work with a team, the hotheaded Assassin was perched above a building and observing the target within an office building across the street. She preferred being a lone wolf, but her orders were to make this assassination a team effort. After hours of watching the feet of a man pace back and forth, Houki became impatient and zip lined across the length of the two buildings and through the window of the target's room. Without giving the man a chance she instantly stabbed the target with her pivot blade-only to find out in pure horror that the so called 'target' was only a man working late for his Templar boss, a decoy that was unaware of the plot he was in. To make things worse, there were other civilian workers in the rooms nearby. The Templars spun a trap, and then attacked her under the guise of security personnel. Her team was forced to move in, two of the four individuals were severely injured and another later died of her injuries.
Many laws were broken due to her impatience, and for that she now arrives in Paradise City with a demotion to the rank of Shinmai. She has to be 'reborn' and from her new American Mentor as punishment for her crimes; if she ever wishes to step into Japan again.
She must learn five new Assassination skills, and come up with her own, all the while helping out her new Mentor's problems in Paradise.
