HOTDEAD: Altered Ep: "The End of Dead Dayz"

Saeko sits with her Murata-tou close to her heaving chest. Her hair was damp, and it was down over the tattered remains of her bloody raincoat. None of the blood was her own though, she already checked for that before she took a seat in this dank alley way. Her dark azure eyes were wide with terror, a sadness washed over her hardened frame that she just couldn't cry. "(Takeshi...the others...they're....)" she couldn't lie. Lie to herself, tell herself that they were still alive...when she had seen them fall first hand. She looks to the gun at her hip. Not once had she used it, nor did she know how to use it, ever since they left the East Police Station, she'd been carrying the handgun...Koda...he called it a Beretta Vertec...something like that. It was a 9mm...a bullet of that caliber would definitely make a skull implode if aimed correctly...and it would be perfect for the job since she didn't plan on staining her blade with her own blood.

She is about to pull the sleek weapon from her thigh holster, but she pauses when three of..."THEM" appear from both the alley ahead of her, and the other towards her left. She was effectively trapped and there was no escape. She slowly stands up, letting the weapon fall back into it's holster as she reaches for her sword. There was no reason for her to live anymore, not when her reason was now laying face up in a rainy street...with him gone...there was no meaning. Her eyes flash and she grabs the tsuka of her blade. However she did not wish to end her life to likes of 'THEM'. She did not want to become one of 'THEM' and did not plan to.

"(You are all going to fall prey to my blade...)" she says aloud coldly to the lifeless sacks of flesh that were shambling towards her from both alleys. She saw that more have joined the fray and she lets out a soft sigh. If the worst came...she'd break her vow and end her own life before she became one of 'THEM'. She'd simply slam the tip of her Murata-tou through the bottom of her jaw and then slam her body downwards with the kashira against the pavement, effectively stabbing the blade through her jaw and then her brain...

She slowly pushes her thumb against the tsuba, flicking the blade slightly open that the habaki was exposed. Waiting for the end to come to her, she was going to have her vengeance soon enough.

The sound of bullets being forced out the barrel of an assault rifle ring out into the air quite audibly. The weapon rattles in the user's hands, and a little red beam appears after the first wave of bullets are cut short from their automatic burst. The barrel still smoking, the man who wields the weapon and cloaked in the shadows of the shady street switches the weapon from full auto to single shot. A little red beam hovers over the heads of the zombies who now turn towards the new arrival, and one by one he kills them. He then steps into the low light, slamming the butt of his rifle into the zombie that was approaching the girl. He then brings the gun upward and switches back to full auto mode, and levels the sights of his scope into the crowd of zombies ahead of them and took them out in a short spray of automatic fire.

He then turns, quickly to the girl. The weapon leveled at her head, the flashlight showing off the woman's youthful Asian face. His eyes were also a deep azure, and he had light brown hair. His complexion was fair, a pale white. A look back at his eyes indicated he was not Asian. He blinks, then lowers his weapon slightly. "Kon'nichiwa!" came a deep voice from under the balaclava he wore. He lowers his weapon fully and steps back, noticing she was quite human.

She had seen many rude entrances in her past, yet there was something sloppy and abrupt about this man's arrival. She looks up at him and cocks an eyebrow when he lowers his weapon. I mean, who say's hello so cheerfully in such a horrifying event? With smiling dark blue eyes and with in such a cheesy manner-it was almost quite comical if her mind wasn't still occupied with darker thoughts. She lets her hand drop away from her Murata-tou's tsuka and lets her arm drop to her side. She looked from his similar colored eyes to his uniform. A military jacket of sorts with many ammo pouches on it, and leather fingerless gloves she guessed to help maintain his grip on his automatic weapon. A holster similar to hers was on his right thigh; in it was a silvery looking handgun. She looked at his muddy combat boots before blinking herself. "(Self Defense Force?...No thats unlikely...)" she thought. She brought her eyes up again and noticed the patch on his right shoulder guard stating: 'North America; B.S.A.A.; Biohazard Security Assessment Alliance; Special Operations Unit'. Her eyes wink a little wider. "A...American?" she says in English. She looks to his face for a response. Was the American Military involved in this somehow? Did that mean, all along there was a world out there still...'free' of this chaos?!

She began to shake, almost violently as she backs against the wall, sliding down it's concrete face. She holds her head and is wide eyed, staring at her boots. "(Was there...truly hope all this time? There were people living out there daily lives while we sat here in this hell hole?!)" she exclaims to the air. She didn't know if she wanted to laugh or cry-perhaps both. All this time...all this fucking time there was a world free of the dead, free of this horror she and her friends had to suffer through. And no one came to help...

At least till the worst had happened....of course fate had to be cruel and let her suffer for what she'd done. Perhaps this was Hell...and living was it's bitter sweet reward.

Damian's eyes widen slightly and he kneel's down beside the young woman. "Yes, I'm from the American division of the B.S.A.A.: Biohazard Security Assessment Alliance. I'm here to take you to safety." he says remaining cautious when he reached down to comfort the obviously shocked woman-he noticed her katana was still partly drawn, and he didn't want to be introduced with it's blade.

"Hey...c'mon..." he says softly placing a hand on her shoulder. "Please, follow me..." he says softly. He looks around quickly. The zombies in this outbreak were a little under powered than the ones used in both Raccoon and Mayland City Outbreaks. They seemed to be blind, and more reliant upon hearing and than their sight. They also moved slower, but what did throw him off were the fact that when they did grab you, they didn't let go no matter what. He looks back to the woman and gets up. "We have to hurry, EVAC is just a few blocks away..." he adds, feeling nervous.

She shutters when he touches her shoulder. She shoots her head up at him, and gave him a perplexed look. She understood...little of what he said. It wasn't that she was bad in her English classes...just that she was a little out of practice since she had not needed to speak the language throughout the apocalypse. She cocked an eyebrow and opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. No...She didn't understand him at all. She lowered her head again and sighed. "American...(I don't understand you)" she says. She could guess what he was trying to say by his body movements, but she did not want to get up right now. Everything was for naught, and she rather slip into the darkness. Why should she be able to go while the others...

She closed her eyes. "(Whats the point..)" she mutters to herself.
