Victory Park, Raccoon City

Ben scours the apparently deserted area for any supplies he can use, he spots an abandoned R.P.D S.W.A.T Van upon entering he finds a few extra mags for his MP5A2 along with mags for his Beretta he stocks up on the spare ammo and spots a spare Helmet and Balaclava upon putting these on he exits the van and spots some Zombies converging upon his position Ben loads his MP5 and prepares to take them out...

The four zombies, two office workers, while the other two were wearing the Umbrella Mercenary gear converged upon him with open arms. They only got past the back entrance to the clock tower when the closest to Ben's position suddenly grows a bullet that explodes out from it's head and causes it to drop like a fly.

The other three paid no notice, as they two were simultaneously being picked off one by one; each with a bullet ejecting from their soft skulls. The bullets were fired from DRAKE's suppressed G36KC. DRAKE was positioned in the fourth floor of an office building overlooking the park and lake. DRAKE had just been cooking ramen from a makeshift campfire near by this sniper's nest and they had not planned on spotting any more survivors in the area. With the last of the zombies down, DRAKE let out a small sigh. They would have to run down to the street level later, to look around for supplies. After last night's ordeal, DRAKE had notice a large hole in their pack. Three days of rations, vital supplies were now somewhere in the destroyed Ferral Lab or in the sewer system.

Normally, DRAKE would just return to cooking, but there was something amiss below... The RPD Van which was there earlier (which DRAKE had syphoned of gas to help cook), had it's rear cache closed. Now... as the scope zoomed in on it, they were clearly open. Worried about potential scavengers, DRAKE got into a prone position with their rifle, and scanned the area with the scope.

Ben watched as the Zombies fell one after the other hid behind a burnt out car that was close to a office buliding he quickly scanned the area and assumed the the gunfire must have come from the office building he thinks to himself "Those were suppressed shots, possibly coming somewhere near that office building" Ben knowing full well that he's at a disadvantage due his weapon not being silenced he comes to the conclusion that he has to play it smart and stay hidden and sneak his way to the building while remaining crouched he begins to make his way towards the office building while attempting to stay behind cover and out sight.

As the man made his way between the cars that lead up to the office building, more zombies came stumbling into the area from the park. These zombies would probably be harder for the man to kill. These men were wearing R.P.D. S.W.A.T. Uniforms and were shambling towards his direction-not that DRAKE had known about this other officer's presence yet. They had seen the zombies lurching in from the park and had began to make short work of them. The 5.56 rounds from the G36KC slammed into their bodies, single shots were now suppressed rapid fire. Some did not die, rather become paralyzed and started crawling under the vehicles, heading towards the hiding Ben!

Ben prepares to move closer to the but suddenly something grabs his foot and causes him to fall as Ben tumbles he drops his MP5A2 and lets out a small grunt he half turns only to be greeted by a zombie dressed in SWAT Gear grasping onto his foot "Oh shit" Ben pulls his knife out at first he hesitates but eventually he kicks the zombie causing it to let go he then throws his knife into it's head killing it he lays for a moment only to have another Zombie crawl out and attempt to grab him Ben rolls out of the way and pulls out his Beretta and shoots the zombie in the head. Ben momentarily forgot about the Sniper but upon realizing that he's most likely given away his position he grabs his MP5A2 and Knife and puts his free running skills to use he quickly dashes for the building's entrance sliding over cars and jumping over obstacles that are in his way hoping to avoid the snipers bullets

DRAKE was about ready to call it a day when the first of the gun shots were heard. Alerted to the presence of another, DRAKE knew they were no longer safe. Turning the scope towards the direction of the gun shot, the agent in black began firing at the fleeing man. At a glance, he looked like another zombie, but with his speed and weaponry it was obvious that he was not. "Hm." DRAKE grunted, spotting a gas tank nearby the man and the zombies that were following him. They took aim and fired right as the fleeing man got into close proximity.

KA-BANG!

The barrel exploded, sending shrapnel, forcing back cars and pushed debris up and into the air; but most of all it sent the young man flying, spiralling into the corner. DRAKE leveled the scope's sights upon his head and pulled the trigger-

-click.

Grunting again, DRAKE pulls their face away from the scope and ejects the magazine, reaching into their fanny pack and pulled out a spare magazine, sliding the weapon inside and pulling back the bolt assist, cocking the weapon.

Ben partially disorientated from the explosion shakes his head and tries to regain his footing upon doing so he notices the sniper didn't fire back he aims his MP5A2 up towards the area where he thinks the Sniper is and fires a few rapid burst shots but while doing fueled by adrenaline he makes one last attempt and runs for the entrance luckily he makes but upon making it he looks to his arm and finds a piece of shrapnel stuck in the upper part of his arm Ben sighs and pulls it out with a small amount of blood coming from the small wound Ben wraps a Bandage around it and makes his way up to the 4th floor

As the bullets whizzed by from the man's suppressing fire, DRAKE fell back, not risking taking a shot while his bullets flied into the open window. Fully loaded, DRAKE went back to the window and searched the grounds for the man--but there was no sight of the man. "Shit!" came DRAKE's deep tone, backing away from the window again, DRAKE looked at their inventory. Knowing full well that the man was likely upon their position as they remained there, DRAKE decided to hide in the shadows in wait for the young scavenger.

Ben arrived at the 4th floor with his MP5A2 raised he flicks the flashlight on and searches the area for the sniper he sees a window at the far end of the buliding and makes his way to it as he gets there he finds nothing he crouches down beside a makeshift campfire and examines it he quietly says to himself "hmm whoever was here isn't here now" as Ben stands and looks out of the window

DRAKE levelled the Assault Rifle to the intruder's back. Through the scope, DRAKE realized that the person before them was a Raccoon City Police Officer; a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics unit so it seemed. As DRAKE was about to pull the trigger, it had also dawned on them that using the assault rifle ammunition would'nt be too smart; DRAKE hadn't had much reserved ammo left for the weapon, and finding more meant either scavenging dead Umbrella Mercenaries or looking for the ammunition in gun shops around the area. Something DRAKE did not want to do. Instead, DRAKE sprinted from the shadows, hunkering low to the ground and charged. Once DRAKE was close enough, DRAKE would shove the unfortunate police officer from the window! It would help save bullets, and it would also be effective use of the terrain.
DRAKE utters no battle cry or any of that sort as they charged, the red and blue lenses of the mask DRAKE wore glinted only slightly in the noon's overcast light and the fire that still crackled with office papers used as tinder.

Ben thought about what he previously said and thought to himself "but then again that's what this guy wants me to think" Ben turns around but as he does he catches a glimpse of the sniper Ben fires his MP5A2 but misses now stood in the middle of the room a few desks scattered around Ben crouches and begins to sneak through the desks hoping to find his target, Ben catches the odd glimpses of his target but due the snipers speed he keeps missing Ben eventually loses sight of his target he looks down to his MP5A2 which is now empty he begins to reload his gun...

DRAKE, spotted by the man quickly changes the charge into a dive to the right. The bullets from the Officer's MP5 pocketing holes into cubicles and office windows. DRAKE rolled behind these poor examples of cover, hunkering down low behind desks opposite of the man. "That was a close one. I underestimated his reaction time." DRAKE thought, looking over to the area beside the campfire. DRAKE's Remington 870 sawn off was leaning against the cubicle facing the campfire. Pulling out a flash grenade from the pack, DRAKE lobbed it towards the officer and quickly got to work. As the metal grenade bounced then rolled before it exploded. DRAKE didn't look (nor would they), but it was only a guess if it even was successful against the SWAT member. DRAKE then drew their Desert Eagle, and strafed left towards the campfire, firing the heavy calibre weapon into the cubicles and desks where DRAKE had speculated the man must have been hiding.

The wood of the cubicle walls and desks splintered, large chunks blowing away from the walls. If DRAKE kept it up, the cover Ben had would be reduced to nothing but saw dust and wood scrap. Though DRAKE did not know where he was, they were hoping to provide themselves with enough coverfire to reach their shotgun. As soon as the Eagle fired 8 times, DRAKE drew their VP70 with the left hand and fired five times into the area. When DRAKE was close, they holstered the VP70, and lunged for the sawnoff pump-action shotgun. Grabbing the weapon, DRAKE ejected the Eagle and placed the magnum handgun upon the floor, pointing the shotgun one handed towards the splintered office desks while they fumbled through the fanny pack for another .50 AE magazines.

Ben heard what sounded like a grenade assuming it was a flash grenade Ben covers his eyes just in time but suddenly he hears a loud bang and the part of the cubicle not too far from where his head were shattered Ben quickly jumped to the right while the rest of the cubicle shattered Ben now having a slight idea of where his enemy was he rolled to the opposite set of cubicles he had somehow managed to get behind the sniper he leveled his MP5 to the snipers head "I Have you now asshole" At least that's what Ben thought

At first DRAKE said nothing, but let the shotgun fall back resting the barrel just below his chin. "Do you now?" came DRAKE's voice, that Steven Blum voice that eeriely escaped from the gas mask. "I think it is I who have you. Even if you shoot, this hair trigger will blow your head clean off. Trust me... I've seen it happen kid." the voice added. Pushing up the gun, the officer's head flew back and he stumbled backwards. DRAKE rolled forward, in the process knocking the campfire over, and turned onto their knee and brought up the shotgun firing buckshot into the ceiling light, causing it to detatch and swing into Ben's direction. Back on their feet again, DRAKE pumped the shotgun, and walked amongst the flames that were quickly building up in the office. The splintered wood and environment was like kindling and the fire began to spread quickly.

As Ben stumbles back he falls into the wall and see the the light swinging towards him Ben just barely manages to dive out of the way he then witnesses the room ignite from the campfire Ben looks on as the Sniper walks among the flames he then stands "Kid? Well... if that's how you see me, I think you'll blush a pretty pink when I come over there and kick your ass!" The office room quickly begins to fill with smoke alongside the fire which begins to impair Ben's vision and causes him to cough "This place isn't going to last" Ben thinks to himself

Unlike the SWAT soldier, DRAKE's gear made them equipped for the deteriorating environment. At one moment he seemed to be in front of the cop, then in the next he was gone. Moving amongst the shadows and the acrid smoke, the filtration mask upon DRAKE's face did it's job. Even at one point, DRAKE managed to grab the Desert Eagle he had dropped earlier. Stuffing it back onto his belt, the agent made their way over to officer from behind. Instead of wasting more precious ammo, DRAKE used the terrain and environment to attack again; well...he used the smoke as a cover and used the shotgun yet as the weapon. The officer would suddenly feel the metal of the shotgun press against his neck before the back of his head was forced against DRAKE's Kevlar outfit. The gasmasked man grunted as he choked the officer with the shotgun, but he wasn't trying to choke the life out of the officer, but rather break the police officer's neck!

Ben grunted as the shotgun pressed against his neck "Shit, this guys quicker then i thought" Ben thought to himself Ben realizing he won't last much longer manages to get his hand between his neck and the shotgun and pushes the shotgun away giving just enough space for Ben to counter he then pushes the weapon in a upward motion so it is now over his head he elbows the sniper in the chest to create distance between them he quickly grabs his MP5 and delivers a swift roundhouse to the the snipers stomach, Ben realizes that the building won't last long and neither will he he makes his way to the exit of the office room.

DRAKE grunts, doubling back as he looked up to watch the Officer flee. Wanting no loose ends, DRAKE lifts the G36 Custom and flicks the safety off of the grenade launcher. Crouching on one knee, and aiming a tad high, DRAKE fires the M203.

Ka-fwoom!

The grenade launches out of the barrel arching as it fell, flying ahead of the police officer before blowing up. The exit stairwell exploded with heat and the force of the blast caused the officer to fall back again. Standing up, DRAKE readies the shotgun again, ready to end this. As he got within range of the officer, the ceiling had already been caught on fire and was weakening. DRAKE now stands above the officer, looking directly into his green eyes with his own nonexistent ones (thanks to the gas mask).

DRAKE simply stood over him, not speaking, no last jabs. He leveled the shotgun to the officer's head...

Just as DRAKE was about to execute the man, the ceiling gave way in the center of the room; large gasoline canisters smashed open and rolled into the flames, spewing flammable gas in jets of blue flame. DRAKE paused, taking notice of this with shock turning to the fallen canisters then back to the officer. Grunting, DRAKE pulled him up onto his feet and pushed him towards the window where scaffolding extended over the Raccoon park wall. DRAKE one handed fired the shotgun, shattering the glass ahead of them, the other hand pushed the officer out with him.

The Office was due to explode!

Before Ben knew it he was more or less thrown out of the window onto the scaffolding One sudden thought rushed through his mind as he looked down "Oh shit that's quite a drop" Ben then watched as the Sniper Jumped from the Scaffolding into the park below, Ben couldn't afford to think twice he too jumped from the scaffolding just as the office exploded but by the time he landed the Sniper was gone Ben scanned the area for the Sniper but couldn't see him although he did see what appeared to be a boardwalk Ben quickly made his way to it with his MP5 raised

DRAKE pressed their back against the wall as the policeman walked by, heading towards the board walk. After jumping from the blast, DRAKE's G36 had gone missing along with the shotgun. They would have to look for them after dealing with the meddling officer. It would be so easy to simply shoot the man, but it was a bullet that DRAKE did not afford to loose. Drawing their combat knife, DRAKE headed towards the boardwalk.

Just as Ben got to the boardwalk there was a Zombie in a very subtle way Ben ejected the magazine on his MP5 which was full and replaced it with a empty one that he had forgot to discard, he then placed the MP5 against the boardwalk he pulled out his Standard issue Beretta and approached the Zombie who was facing away Ben kicked the Zombie in the back of the knees and shot it in the head after doing so he pushed it over the side into the water below.

DRAKE was soon stalking the boardwalk. The boarded walkway extended out towards Victory Lake, which was still but not quiet. The chirping of frogs could be heard in the area, a lot of them. They were an annoyance to say the least. DRAKE had also drawn their Desert Eagle, sweeping the nearly unprotected boardwalk as he stumbled upon the MP5. "Hm.." DRAKE grunts, hunkering down beside the weapon. They then turned to the sight of blood ahead of him, and then stood up turning to the water off the side of the boardwalk. A body floated there in the murky water, and bobbed with the waves. DRAKE store at it a moment longer, studying it. It didn't seem to be the officer... it looked as though the man had shot the creature, dropped the gun and left.

Ben watched as the Zombie's corpse was floating on the surface of the water he turned his head only to see more Zombies making their way across the boardwalk to Ben's position Ben began dispatching them but had to walk back while doing so as they were walking rather quick by now Ben was stood in the middle of the boardwalk where he stopped and finished the last two Zombies. After the last two fall Ben reloads his Beretta and scans the area in front of him while wondering where the sniper went..

There was a sudden flash of light, and then DRAKE was behind him! Their clothes wet from the water they had dived under and it splashed the walkway as they grabbed his left shoulder tight, drawing themselves in to make a downward stab into the young officer's neck!

As Ben's vison became impaired due to the flash he felt himself being pushed and before he knew it he was in the water below the walkway feeling the grip on his left shoulder tighten he felt himself being pushed deeper below. Without hesitation he began to punch wildly hoping to connect with his assailants ribs
